In any aspect, the camera is practically awful, to the extent that we wonder if the laptop will be fine without it. The life of the battery is also not up to the mark, so, whether you want to watch movies or want to do your work far off from a power outlet, you’ll not get much from it.
The main concern is: Is there anything good about the Gigabyte Aorus 15G in regards to gaming? The brief response is yes. This is indeed a solid player. The fact that Gigabyte opted to stick with a 1080p screen means that it is able to achieve smooth frame rates in all recent titles, while it will be lagging behind the machines loaded with the RTX 3080. This is precisely what you must hear as you spend $1,800 on a laptop for gaming. You will have a top-notch gaming experience with this beast in even the maximized settings.
It’s certainly not as aesthetically appealing as other computers, but the chassis does not hold this beast either. But, in the end, this computer should be assessed on its gaming capacity, and here a certain thumbs-up is given. While a 3080 RTX processor will achieve higher frame rates, a device of this kind would certainly cost a lot more than $1800.
