Apple iPhone 13 expected to feature Always-On Display, along with 120Hz refresh rate: Is it a Rumor or Actual Feature – Time will tell

It’s been merely two months into 2021, and the rumors are already ripe in connection with the launch of the Apple iPhone 13. Well-informed sources have spilled the beans that the new Apple iPhone 13 is expected to feature Always-On Display, along with a 120Hz refresh rate, and some minor design upgrades as well.

It has only been four months since iPhone 12 was introduced in the market, and the new variant iPhone 13 Pro has already started to make headlines across the world. In a recent YouTube video, it is rumored that the new iPhone 13 Pro is expected to be released in the second half of the year.

According to the reports, the iPhone 13 Pro will retain most of the design elements of its predecessor, but it will have a more refined matte look at the back, and it will feel soft to touch just like the Google Pixel Phone.

The iPhone 13 Pro models are also expected to feature 120Hz LTPO displays. This was supposed to be delivered with the iPhone 12 series, but it could not be materialized in time, thus it was rescheduled to be launched in the iPhone 13 Pro series.

The new iPhones are expected to come with a brand-new feature of Always-On Display which is quite similar to the Apple watch series 5 and 6. It uses the same technology as well. This new feature will not take additional battery power, likewise it will offer some minimal customizations in the clock. There will be an additional light-up on the screen for the incoming notifications, rather than the entire display lightening up as seen in the previous models of iPhone.

Another key feature in the new iPhone 13 is the improvisation in magnetic technology. This new model will have stronger magnets for MagSafe to ensure that the chargers and other accessories are more securely attached to the phone – making them more compatible.

A very interesting feature – the new night mode – is expected to be added in the new model. This is similar to Google Pixel’s Astrophotography mode.

Apple is expected to offer telephoto cameras in the new iPhone Pro and Pro Max- a feature missing in the iPhone 12 series.

The speculations are going on that a Portrait Video feature can be included in the upcoming iPhone series. The post-processing will change dynamically.

The entire iPhone 13 product line is expected to offer a new ultra-wide camera with improved sensors and 6P lenses. Another rumor churning out of the mill is that Apple might offer its users the ability to use iPhone to unlock their Tesla cars by using a built-in U1 chip.

Rest assured, these are rumors that look too good to be true. Apple iPhone 13 expected to feature Always-On Display, along with 120Hz refresh rate will be true as actual features or rumors – only time will tell.
